I just finished watching 20/20 interview with Terri Irwin. I am an emotional person. I know. But it really broke my heart.

I remember years ago, watching one of his shows and laughing at his over enthusiasm for wild life. I watched his tribute online and watched this interview and I am amazed at how much he has done and how unique this man really was. Terri, his wife, said that he was fun and he didn't sweat the small stuff. It is so hard to live life like that. It's ashame that his life was cut so short. However I have a feeling that Terri and their two children will continue his legacy. (Sniff Sniff) I need to go blow my nose...

Yeah, I was crestfallen to hear about his passing. But it's good to know that he didn't suffer much and he died doing what he loved.

I saw a brief clip of his memorial sevice where his daughter said a few words (yeah, I cried). For such a small child, she spoke so eloquently and had such strength and composure. She's inherited her father's boldness and joie de vivre...

The Crocodile Hunter, there will never be another like him...

Didn't even realize you had a new blog going! (Been so busy...) First, I'm glad you're back. Two, how happy am I to be able to see E and J again? EXTREMELY!!! Aw, E is growing up - she already looks much taller than the last picture... sigh, I'm sure I'll cry a lot on LN's first day. It's probably nice for J as well, to get mommy to herself on a regular basis.
I have severe phobia of snakes (it's pretty bad - I get scared of plastic snakes) so haven't really watched any of his shows lest a snake or two will show up - but it's a shame that someone who is that enthusiastic about animals had to go so young...

it is really sad, especially for all the little fans around the world he had.
