Surprised Finale
I was browsing through the net and I found this clip. I didn't know that on American Idol Gives Back Special the AI contestant sang "Shout to the Lord" as their finale. They replaced My Jesus with My Shepherd in the beginning but it was really good. Was anyone surprised that they sang a Christian song? I was encouraged by it...

it is interesting and encouraging that AI, the mainstream of mainstream, used a christian song.
btw, your boy looks soooo sweet and fun. we should definitely get together for a playdate. this time, they may actually be able to interact. :)
Yup, I was shocked when they sang Shout to the Lord. Although I was disappointed they changed the words to My Shepherd instead of My Jesus. But they did sing it again on results night last Thursday with the correct lyrics. I'm shocked they sang such a blatant Christian song and that there isn't more of an uproar.
